Our first little miracle... Sweet Sarah May

Seems like just yesterday we were picking her up from the hospital to bring her home.

Our second miracle...

is on it's way.

I am almost 10 weeks pregnant!  We had our second ultrasound yesterday.  It's been so hard to keep it a secret, but I couldn't wait any longer.  We still aren't in the clear, but we've never gotten this far before.  We've heard the heartbeat twice, and my levels continue to climb, so the doctor is really optimistic and fairly certain that all will work out.

Kinda crazy saying "I'm pregnant" after trying so many years.

Heavenly Father just knew we needed Sarah May first, and someone else had to bring her into this world.

(Can I just say - it's really wierd to think that I didn't give birth to her...

because she fits so perfectly in our family)

To those of you whom I have "innocently" lied to...I'm sorry.  We've known for weeks.
To those of you whom I wrongfully judged while you were pregnant (my coping mechanism)...I'm sorry.

testing, testing, 1...2...3...

There's a really good reason I haven't been blogging.  Some how, some way...when I started the whole Facebook thing (and had like 25 "friends") I managed to link my blog to my account.  I finally figured out how to remove the link.  Whenever I would post something to my blog...it would post to Facebook too.  Well (no offense) my posts here are mostly for family and close friends...I don't really want random acquaintances that I happened to "kind of" know in high school, etc. to read my blog.  I know, I know...complete strangers can read my blog as of right now.  It's really not that hard to find doing a search or "blog hopping."  I guess I just don't want to notify EVERYONE on Facebook about what's going on.

Which leads me to my next point.  I have pretty much decided this blog is going to go private.  I know, I know!  I hate when people shut me out too!  HOWEVER, with the photog biz, adoption stuff, my husband's line of work...I have lots of good reasons to do it. 

I'm gonna give it another week or two before making it official.

And since posts are boring without pictures, here's a couple of my cuties.
